The Titania Canterbury Tale The story written by Faye Daigler, Kate Pinkerton, Aaron Jones and myself... with help from all those we love. Rating: G, with lots of rhyming.
The Short Story, Adventures of the Titania Written for English 202 as a short story. Rating: G, for childish sweetness.
The Rain on My Parade A criticism of my life written for English 102 in the Fall 2004 semester. Rating: G.
Patsy^ A one-shot, dealing with Sin, during his time at SECA. Rating: G for family friendly fun.
Irishmen Should Not Drink^ Another one-shot of Sin, this time at prom. Rating: PG for drinking. And possible language. I can't remember.
The Price of Triumph This piece has been removed to the Restricted Section.
Mercy A flash-fic done in the spring of 2004 for a Creative Writing class. The picture was of a boy in shackles being taken away by what seemed to be Arkansas State Troopers. Rating: G.
Forever My stab at using a one word prompt, back when petitte_soeur and contrelamontre were up. Rating: G, as it is family friendly and only a mention of death.
We Might as Well be Strangers Songfic. Based on song of same title by Keane. This is what happens when you watch Raise Your Voice and happen to be very weepy. Rating: PG, for a nearly sexual situation that got nowhere.
Light Lunch Conversation^ A play written for English 202. The character was one I used to write, and I wanted to explore his past more. Rating: PG, for possible strong language and a general dislike of Jude.
Hair Written in a fit of flash-fiction (writing one page, or in an hour or less, or some combination thereof) and wanting to write prompt-based fiction. Not bad, per se. Just early fic. Rating: G, because it's all safe.
In Your Heart, Your Hiding Place Partly a pic-fic (picture-inspired fiction), partly an assignment for Creative writing a few years ago, partly a foray into writing other people's characters. Failing miserably in all that, this is mixed metaphorically. Don't say I didn't warn you. Rating: G/PG, because there's only hints and nothing much in that way, either.
These Are the Last Words Not that I'm any good at pic-fics. But this is another. Can't find this pic either, sadly. Written maybe 4 years ago? 3? Something like that. Rating: PG13, cause I'm not sure what I expected here. But it's not very people-friendly.
The OC Quote Trilogy This piece has been removed to the Restricted Section.
Poetry Items of poetry written at various times.
Poetry from Nix^ Poetry written from Nix Cordell's POV during my stint in Creative Writing in high school. Rated: PG 13 (the highest rating for this section), for darker themes.
Poetry for the Poetically Inclined The largest collection of my work so far. Rating: PG, for some episodes of darkness.
lost A poem written for English 202 with the first prompt word being MOON. Students linked from there and key words are in italics. Rating: G.
Choose Your Weapon The truth about the weapons a plumper person fights with.
September Jones Written during my vacation away, and remembering a boy who went off to war. (Please note that the boy ended up not going to war and being here when I got back.)
So Why Are You Running? This piece has been removed to the Restricted Section.
my two strong arms A piece discussing my mother's mobility.
Speeches Anything that sounds remotely speech-like. Rating: G.
Superhero 101, or How to be Invisible in a Crowd Catchy title, huh? Written for Comm(unications) 111. Not precisely the "how-to" speech my professor was looking for.
What is Self-Injury? More of a PSA than an informative speech. Written for Comm 111 in Fall '04.
Fat=Beauty The last fun speech from Comm 111. I think she would have preferred to have me have less fun.
